However the lightening conductor, a 60 metre-plus length of copper, was firmly attacthed to the top of the steeple, so the thieves got more than bargained for. The new 5,000 square metre, purpose built facility has a large yard space in addition to the new building with plenty of space for Wilson Access Hire's ever-expanding fleet of truck-mounted access machines, such as the recently acquired 53 metre Wumag. Managing Director Tom Wilson said "We've been looking for a new base for a while now and I really feel we've found somewhere that will allow us to continue our recent expansion".
