			<description>
 On 24th July 2008 thieves stripping lead from St John the Evangelist Church in Birkby, near Huddersfield pulled the top off the 50 metre (150ft) steeple, the highest in the Wakefield Diocese, after having attached their van to the copper lightening conductor in order to pull it free. However the lightening conductor, a 60 metre-plus length of copper, was firmly attacthed to the top of the steeple, so the thieves got more than bargained for. Falling masonry smashed through the church roof with such force that it crashed through the floor below and into the cellars.

			<description>
 Wilson Access Hire has recently moved from its old Brighouse location to new premises in Elland, in order to accommodate its new spider lift activity. The new 5,000 square metre, purpose built facility has a large yard space in addition to the new building with plenty of space for Wilson Access Hire's ever-expanding fleet of truck-mounted access machines, such as the recently acquired 53 metre Wumag. Managing Director Tom Wilson said "We've been looking for a new base for a while now and I really feel we've found somewhere that will allow us to continue our recent expansion". The new address is: Unit 3 Mount Works, Quebec Street, Elland, HX5 9AN.
